Service Times

Saturday 10:00 am – Said Mass (a short, quiet service lasting about 25 minutes)

Sunday 10:00 am – Parish Mass (our main community service, with hymns and incense, lasting just over an hour)

Open Church

On the first Wednesday of every month, the Church is open from 7:00 until 9:00 pm for anyone to come in, light a candle, pray, reflect, drink coffee, chat or just be.  Everyone is welcome – please do drop in!

Holy Week Symbol colour


Palm Sunday – 25th March

10:00 am  Parish Mass with blessing and procession of palms
Starting at St Vincent Field


Holy Monday – 26th March
6:30 pm Healing Service
A short, informal service
including anointing with holy oil for those who wish

Holy Tuesday – 27th March
6:30 pm Prayers before the Blessed Sacrament
A short, informal service
including silence, prayer and time for reflection

Spy Wednesday – 28th March
6:30 pm Agape
A short, informal gathering in the Church hall.
Share a simple supper, and reflect together on the themes of the day


Maundy Thursday – 29th March

6:30 pm  Sung Mass with footwashing and procession of the Blessed Sacrament
A traditional service, in which we recall the words and actions of Jesus at the Last Supper.
The service lasts about an hour.
The Church will remain open all evening for silent prayer and reflection.

11:30 pm Tenebrae
A said service of psalms and scripture readings,
reflecting on Jesus’s hours in the Garden of Gethsemane.
The service begins in candlelight and ends in complete darkness –
you may want to bring a torch!


Good Friday – 30th March

3:00 pm  Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion

A traditional and sombre service,
including veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion.


Holy Saturday – 31st March
4:00 pm  Easter Bonfire
A short gathering, especially suitable for children and families.
Come and hear stories, toast marshmallows and play with fire!
The bonfire will be at the side of the Church.
If it’s really raining, we’ll be in the hall.

Easter Sunday – 1st April

5:30 am  Paschal Vigil
Yes, you read that right – it’s half past five in the morning.
But it’s worth getting up for:
candles, water, rejoicing, the first Mass of Easter, and a full English breakfast afterwards.

10:00 am  Parish Mass
An all-age, family-friendly service to celebrate Easter.
Yes, there will be chocolate.
